Student Ambassador - Chewy Health Veterinary School Program


Location: Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine


Compensation: $2000 stipend per academic year

Ambassador Program Description:


Chewy Health, a dynamic and multi-faceted healthcare and retail organization, is seeking a dedicated and motivated 2nd or 3rd-year veterinary student to serve as a Student Ambassador. In this role, you will link Chewy Health and the veterinary school community, ensuring that our brand is well-represented, and our initiatives are successfully implemented on campus.


Ambassador Program Services:

  • Brand Representation: Serve as a visible and enthusiastic Chewy Health consultant at various school events and activities, fostering brand awareness and promoting our mission and services.

  • Sponsorship Opportunities: Identify and cultivate potential sponsorship and partnership opportunities that align with Chewy Health's values and objectives within the veterinary school community.
  • Student Discount Management: Administer and manage Chewy Health's student discount program, including the verification of eligible students and ensuring its accessibility and proper use.
  • Event Coordination: Collaborate with school organizations and associations to coordinate events, seminars, workshops, or activities where Chewy Health's involvement can provide value to students. Assist the Veterinary Relations team in arranging campus visits at the Ambassador's school by distributing materials, posting announcements, reserving meeting rooms, arranging catering, preparing giveaways, and other event details.
  • Social Media Engagement: Utilize your social media presence to promote Chewy Health's events and initiatives, engaging with fellow students and sharing relevant content.
  • Feedback Collection: Participate in the presentations on campus and provide follow-up with students and Chewy Health. Gather feedback and suggestions from fellow students, ensuring that their opinions and needs are heard and addressed by Chewy Health.
  • Reports and Documentation: Maintain accurate records and reports of your activities, sponsorships, and student discount program management, providing regular updates to the Chewy Health team.
Requirements:
  • Current enrollment as a 2nd or 3rd-year student in good academic standing at Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine .
  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written communication, to engage with students, faculty, and Chewy Health representatives effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities concurrently.
  • Proactive and self-driven approach; able to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Active presence on social media platforms and the ability to leverage them for promotional purposes.
  • Computer skills - Comfortably and confidently uses a computer and specialized software. Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, etc.

  • A genuine passion for promoting healthcare and retail services that align with Chewy Health's values and mission.
