The Learning Experience in Manassas, VA is looking for a passionate, energetic Assistant Director to help lead our preschool team.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Assistant Director, Lead Teacher, or early childhood educator who is ready to grow into leadership while still staying connected to children, teachers, and families.

? What You'll Do

As Assistant Director, you'll work alongside the Center Director to help create an amazing experience for our children, families, and teachers.

You'll help:

• Lead, coach, and support our teaching team
• Create a positive, welcoming center culture
• Support hiring, onboarding, training, and staff development
• Maintain safe, engaging, high-quality classrooms
• Ensure compliance with Virginia licensing, health, and safety requirements
• Support staffing and daily center operations
• Build strong relationships with current families
• Welcome prospective families and assist with center tours and enrollment
• Help implement our proprietary L.E.A.P.® Curriculum
• Support family retention and center enrollment goals
• Participate in community events and center activities
• Step into classrooms and support the team when needed

? You May Be a Great Fit If You:

• Have experience in a licensed daycare, preschool, or early childhood education setting
• Have leadership experience OR are an experienced Lead Teacher ready for your next step
• Understand Virginia childcare licensing requirements
• Love coaching, encouraging, and developing others
• Are organized and comfortable juggling multiple priorities
• Communicate confidently with families and team members
• Aren't afraid to jump in and help wherever you're needed
• Want to continue growing your career in Early Childhood Education
