Job Description
Position: General Labor-Las Vegas ballpark Overview Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, bleachers, sanitizing bathrooms, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish. Duties may include performing routine maintenance activities, such as notifying management of needed repairs.
Key Responsibilities - Clean floors, bleachers, and stairwells by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
- Gather and empty trash.
- Service, cleaning, and supply restrooms.
- Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
- Must be always in proscribed uniform including the wear of a photo I.D badge visible above the waist.
- Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
- Mix water and chemicals in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.
- Steam-clean or shampoo and extract carpets.
- Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors.
- Drive or operate powered equipment including ride on scrubbers, industrial ride on vacuum cleaners and blowers.
- Use water hose or any power washing tool to remove stains or heavy debris
- Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
- Understand and follow all facility rules, procedures and policies.
- Notifies supervisor about safety issues or maintenance needs.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Role Skills and Requirements - Must be able to perform repetitive motion for extensive amount of time
- Must be able to walk long distances and constantly utilize the stairs
- Must be comfortable working in elevated platforms (bleachers)
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to work independently or with a partner
- Capable of lifting, bending, stooping, pushing & pulling heavy loads
- Must be able to lift and/or carry thirty (30) to fifty (50) pounds
