Job Overview Behavioral Health Connections, Inc. is a provider of patient-focused mental health services. We are seeking a dynamic Call Center Specialist for PRN night shifts, working 12‑hour shifts. The specialist will perform administrative functions to manage patient care, monitor referrals, and connect patients to relevant health‑care providers. Responsibilities Answer incoming calls and capture demographic information for patients awaiting assessment. Coordinate and process patient documents and paperwork for transfers. Ensure all required information is accurately documented within the information system programs. Assist the Mobile Assessment Team Evaluator with commitment process, paperwork, and transfer process as needed. Monitor referrals and connect patients to appropriate mental‑health providers. Organize, facilitate, and coordinate the timely evaluation with a therapist and acceptance of patients referred for services. Perform insurance verification and data entry tasks. Experience: Preferred Associate Degree. Preferred 1–3 Years Work‑Related Experience: Knowledge of crisis intervention, risk assessment, psychiatric diagnosis symptomology, basic chemical dependency, age‑specific growth and development, and crisis and behavior management.
