Overview Archer Western Construction is currently seeking a Class B Truck Driver with Tanker Endorsement for the I 81 Widening Project, in Roanoke/ Salem, VA. The Dump Truck Driver will drive a dump truck with a capacity of at least three tons to transport goods or materials. Responsibilities Operate heavy duty truck to move and/or transport materials as required by jobsite. Possess knowledge of operating procedures for loading and unloading materials. Oil, grease, service, and perform normal maintenance on equipment. Perform other related duties as required. Qualifications 3-5 years truck driving experience preferred. Commercial driver's license (CDL). Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; may work in adverse weather. Compliance with all safety policies and effective communication with co-workers and supervisors. Strong work ethic and desire to learn. Good manual dexterity; may stand, bend, kneel, or sit for long periods. Pass a pre‑employment drug screening.
