Job Description:
As a Cloud/Platform/Systems Specialist, you will support senior technical resources while leading infrastructure modernization efforts across hybrid cloud environments. You will design, optimize, and govern cloud and on premises platforms to improve scalability, resiliency, security, and operational efficiency, helping reduce reliance on legacy solutions and enabling standardized, automated infrastructure practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, administer, and optimize hybrid platforms integrating on premises infrastructure with cloud services.
• Lead modernization and migration initiatives including workload assessments and transition planning.
• Provide senior tier troubleshooting support for complex infrastructure, identity, and networking issues.
• Monitor, optimize, and maintain compute, storage, networking, and identity services for resiliency and performance.
• Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies aligned with RTO and RPO requirements.
• Develop and maintain architecture documentation, standards, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with automation teams to define infrastructure as code patterns and CI/CD workflows.
• Enforce security guardrails and compliance controls across cloud and on prem environments.
• Identify cost optimization opportunities and recommend efficiency improvements.
• Deliver technical briefings, documentation, and knowledge transfer to stakeholders.

Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:

• 5+ years of experience designing and supporting hybrid cloud and enterprise infrastructure platforms.
• Hands on experience administering cloud environments including compute, networking, identity, and storage services.
• Experience migrating legacy systems to cloud platforms and designing modernization roadmaps.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for complex infrastructure, network, and identity issues.
• Experience implementing infrastructure as code and automation using modern tooling.
• Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployment and governance.
• Knowledge of security controls, compliance requirements, and platform hardening practices.
• Strong documentation, analytical, and problem solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate with engineering, application, automation, and security teams.

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $60.00 to $85.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
