Cyber Security Analyst

Zurich North America is currently hiring a Cyber Security Analyst to join the Zurich Cyber team! You will be primarily responsible for continuous monitoring and vulnerability scanning using various security tools to identify and deter potential incidents, network intrusions, and malware events. The expected schedule for this role is Friday, Saturday, and Sundays from 7PM-7AM, with full-time pay. Responsibilities include ongoing monitoring and alerting of Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) technologies, review and analysis of log files for unusual or suspect activity, generation of event tickets, triage and validation of alerts from Managed Detection and Response tools, analysis of incident event data to develop preliminary root cause and corresponding remediation strategies, research and recommendation of appropriate information security solutions to our clients, communication and coordination with clients regarding alerts, project updates, and project statuses, data collection, analysis, and report writing, engagement in group collaborative projects and effective teamwork, learning and utilization of SpearTip's ShadowSpear Platform, and pursuit of continued technical education/certifications (at SpearTip's expense).

Required Qualifications include a Bachelors degree and 0 or more years of experience in the Information Technology area OR Zurich Cybersecurity Technician Apprentice, including Cyber Security Certification and 2 or more years experience in the Information Technology area OR High School Diploma or Equivalent and 3 or more years experience in the Information Technology area AND MS Office experience. Preferred Qualifications include knowledge of cyber information security functions (Incident Response, Application Security, Threat Defense, Vulnerability Management, Threat Intelligence), strong analytical and customer service skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, industry certifications such as, but not limited to: A+, Network+, Server+, Security+, CyberSecurity Analyst+, and Penetration Tester+, PMP, CRISC, CEH, Security+, Comptia SEC+, GIAC Hands on experience with SentinelOne.

Your pay at Zurich is based on your role, location, skills, and experience. We follow local laws to ensure fair compensation. You may also be eligible for bonuses and merit increases. The proposed Salary range for this position is $59,900.00 - $98,200.00, with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 10%.
