Job Title: Box Truck Delivery Driver $24.12/HR

Job Description

The delivery driver will be responsible for ensuring timely and efficient delivery and pickup of packages. They will load and unload briefcases weighing approximately 50 lbs, containing technical equipment such as wires, phones, and Wi-Fi boxes. Drivers will cover routes in metro Boston areas south of Somerville, the Cape, Bristol County in MA, and Framingham, MA. It is essential for drivers to arrive 10 minutes early to adequately prepare for their day.

Location: Taunton, MA

Pay: $24.12

Hours: 5am - 3:30pm M-F

Responsibilities

• Load trucks with necessary materials for daily deliveries.
• Deliver packages to specified areas including metro Boston, the Cape, Bristol County, and Framingham.
• Pick up packages from clients.
• Ensure customer satisfaction with a friendly demeanor during interactions.
• Adhere to safety protocols including not using a phone while driving and being on camera while operating the 16" box trucks.

Essential Skills

• At least 1 year of driving experience.
• Ability to lift 50-55 lbs.
• Possession of a Dthe person Card.
• Clean driving record for the past 7 years.
• Experience driving delivery vehicles, particularly box trucks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with delivery routes and route sales.
• Ability to work as a team player.
• Proficiency in customer service.

Work Environment

The work environment involves operating from a warehouse to load and unload trucks, using the backroom to gather materials for shifts. The primary work setting will be on the road, utilizing a company truck. Work hours start at 5 AM until the job is completed, typically around 3:30 PM. A professional and customer-friendly demeanor is essential.

This is a Contract position based out of Taunton, MA.

The pay range for this position is $24.12 - $24.12/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Taunton,MA.
