Employees are required to work an 8-hour shift schedule during our normal business hours of 8:00am - 4:30pm CST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.We offer 4 weeks of on-the-job training. The hours of training will be aligned with your schedule.Primary Responsibilities:Responsible for preparing, scanning, and indexing documents into the electronic medical record (EMR) system.Organizes and maintains health information records.Reviews pre-electronic medical record (EMR) and electronic chart documentation ensuring correct patient, location, and no duplicate information.Manages requests for documentation and information.Locates, logs, retrieves, files, and delivers medical records stored in various mediums and systems.Assist with providing coverage for department phone lines as neededOther duties as assigned.You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:High School Diploma / GEDMust be 18 years of age OR olderExperience with Computers and Windows based programsExperience in Health Information ManagementAbility to work full time onsite at N17W24100 Riverwood Dr Waukesha, WI 53188Ability to work 8:00AM - 4:30PM CST, Monday - FridayPreferred Qualifications:Medical terminology experienceExperience with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel (create, edit, save documents and spreadsheets) and Microsoft Outlook (email and calendar management)Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
