Job Description
Arizona Alterations is experiencing explosive growth, and we are looking for an experienced seamstress or tailor to hire immediately.
We pay top rates for excellent quality of work at 50% of each completed tag. Current seamstresses are clearing $400 to $500+ a day
Candidates must be able to work quickly, with few errors to maximize their pay. This is not a position for a home sewer, people who are still learning, or sometimes sewers.
Requirements:
10+ years experience as a seamstress or tailor in a professional sewing environment
Speak & read English well enough to communicate with co-workers and follow instruction
Comfortable industrial sewing machines
Be able to work at speed, while maintaining quality and accuracy standards
A great work ethic, winning personality, and team player
What you will be doing:
Deconstructing and reconstructing textile items
Sewing all manner of projects: From simple pant hems and tapers, to jacket reconstruction, wedding gowns, and everything in between
Non-garment projects: Curtains, seat cushion repair, etc.
Our shop has a relaxed & friendly atmosphere with a great vibe, cool music, and free drinks in the fridge. Owner leads from the front and is at a machine all day working with the team.
