Frontend Web Developer

Responsibilities

As a Frontend Web Developer, you'll be a key player in crafting engaging and user-friendly web experiences for our partners and employees. Your role involves close collaboration with diverse teams, including designers, back-end developers, and project managers. Together, you'll transform visual designs and wireframes into top-notch interactive web applications.

Key Duties
  • Develop and maintain efficient, scalable frontend code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX experts to transform wireframes and designs into responsive web interfaces.
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize them for maximum performance and scalability.
  • Create reusable code and libraries to enhance code modularity and maintainability.
  • Work closely with back-end developers to integrate frontend components with server-side logic and APIs.
  • Rigorously test and debug to guarantee smooth, bug-free user experiences across various browsers and devices.
  • Stay current with the latest frontend technologies and industry trends, sharing knowledge and best practices with the team.
  • Collaborate effectively within an Agile development environment, participating in stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Contribute to code reviews and provide constructive feedback to uphold code quality and drive continuous improvement.
  • Maintain and enhance existing web properties in alignment with Sales & Marketing priorities.
  • Embrace a proactive and flexible mindset, readily taking on additional responsibilities and supporting team members as required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience as a frontend web developer, supported by a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
  • Proficiency in frontend technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.
  • Experience with Shopify/ShopifyPlus (a must) and familiarity with Optimizely B2B (a plus!).
  • Knowledge of front-end frameworks and libraries, such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Understanding of web accessibility standards and best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, enabling you to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
