PD6:FurnitureTechnician–SkillLevel3–SIOBoffice(NGA-W) Responsibilities Disassemble,assemble,andrepairfurnitureandsystemsfurniture Managefurniturewarehouseinventorytoincludemodularfurniture,stickfurniture,art and branding items, chairs, and repair parts Trackfurniturewarrantiesandcommunicationissues/concernswithSIOIleadership Coordinateandtrackallwarrantyrepairsasrequired DevelopandmaintainwarehouseinventoryinARCHIBUS.Conductsemi-annual audits to ensure inventory data isaccurate ProvidemonthlyinventorystatusupdatesandrestockrecommendationstoSIOIleadership Install/movefurnitureinsupportofsmall-sizedSIOIprojectsasdirectedbygovernment Sponsor/escortfurniturerepairtechniciansandexteriorfurnitureinstallersasneededin support of major SIOI projects Process and complete furniture Work Orders (WOs) within 5 business days of receipt from the Workforce Support Center (WSC).WOs may include, but are not limited to, moving furniture (system and free standing), replacing monitor support arms, moving file cabinets, andassembling furniture.CoordinateWO completionwith theWSC and includetechnician’snotesdescribingworkperformed.AnyWOsnotcompletedwithin 5 business days must have revised estimated completion dates coordinated through SIOI and customers by the 6th business day and then be tracked until completion or further revision in coordination with SIOI/customers. Furniture technicians will have access to powered and manual lifts in support of their dutiesandshallbeabletodemonstratetheirexperienceintheoperationofmanualand power lifts IAW NGAsafety policies and industry standards. Required/DesiredSkillsandExperience AddCertifiedPriceModernfurnitureinstallerpreferred,orotherfurniture-related certifications (e.g., Knoll, Steelcase, Encore/Arcadia) Demonstratedexperienceinunderstanding/interpretingconstructiondrawingsasrelated to carpentry/furniture installation DemonstratedexperienceutilizingMicrosoftOfficeSuitesuchasbuildingspreadsheets,consolidatinginput across various offices, and edit/update as needed Demonstratedabilitytomanage/trackfurnitureinventoryinIWMSsystemsuchasARCHIBUS #J-18808-Ljbffr
