Job Description
We are seeking a Junior Network Engineer to join our Managed Services team. The Junior Network Engineer will be responsible for providing advanced technical support for network issues reported by our clients. As a member of our Managed Services team, you will work alongside senior network engineers to troubleshoot and resolve complex network problems for our clients. You will be responsible for maintaining the network infrastructure of our clients, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of support.
Responsibilities:
· Troubleshoot escalated network issues and provide solutions to clients
· Work alongside senior network engineers to implement, upgrade, and maintain network infrastructure for clients
· Monitor and maintain the performance of network devices and systems, and provide recommendations for improvements
· Collaborate with clients to understand their network needs, and provide recommendations for network solutions
· Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software for clients
· Participate in the design and implementation of new network systems and technologies for clients
· Work with cross-functional teams to implement network solutions that meet client requirements
· Maintain and update network documentation and diagrams for clients
· Travel to client sites as needed to provide on-site support
· Expense travel related to client site visits in accordance with company policies
Requirements:
· Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification or equivalent industry experience
· Knowledge of DHCP, DNS, IP addressing, and subnetting
· Familiarity with LAN/WAN technologies, including switches, routers, firewalls, and VPNs
· Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Willingness to learn and develop new skills
· Prior experience in a managed services environment is a plus
