Description Position at Pilgrim’s Maintenance Lead At Pilgrim’s, Safety Is A Condition, which means the safety of our team members comes first – always. Pilgrim’s is looking for a Maintenance Lead to supervise and coordinate maintenance activities across the facility. This role ensures optimal equipment performance, reliable utility systems, and efficient facility operations while leading maintenance teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities: Supervise maintenance team responsible for repair, installation, and upkeep of plant equipment, facilities, and utility systems. Plan, assign, and monitor work schedules to ensure timely and effective completion of maintenance activities. Maintain production equipment to minimize downtime and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards. Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs to ensure consistent execution and equipment reliability. Troubleshoot maintenance issues and support team members in problem-solving and technical development. Support facility improvements and manage procurement of tools, equipment, and supplies to drive efficient operations. Other duties as assigned. What You’ll Need: Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred; Experience: Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in poultry or food manufacturing. Experience with processing equipment and industrial maintenance systems; Skills: Working knowledge of refrigeration, PLCs/electrical systems, proficiency in plumbing, welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems, strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, basic computer skills and ability to support maintenance systems, and ability to become Haz-Mat team qualified.
