Maintenance Technician

The Mechanical & Robotics Technician plays a key role in supporting daily operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing automated machinery, robotic systems, and material-handling equipment throughout the facility. This role involves hands-on work with conveyors, pneumatic components, and electromechanical systems, as well as guiding junior techs as they grow their technical skill set.

Primary Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety policies and equipment procedures.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and document all work accurately.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues on material-handling systems, including conveyors, motors, sensors, and control components.
• Build strong working relationships with teams across the operations floor.
• Organize and track spare parts, tools, and maintenance supplies.
• Work in a physically active environment that requires standing, walking, and lifting up to 49 lbs for extended periods.
• Travel up to 20% as business needs require.

Required Skills & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• At least one year of experience using basic PC applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Work Environment

This is a contract-to-permanent role available across multiple shifts. Schedules vary by site and may include early morning, mid-day, or evening start times. Technicians work within a large, highly automated distribution environment featuring advanced robotics and fast-moving equipment. Expect a 10-hour shift, high activity levels, and performance metrics based on accuracy, efficiency, and equipment uptime.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kent, WA.

The pay range for this position is $30.11 - $30.11/hr.
