Marine Technicians

Location: Ventura, CA

Pay: $20-$25

1st Shift

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Ship Mechanics to perform a variety of mechanical repairs and maintenance tasks on marine vessels. The ideal candidate has hands‑on marine or boat maintenance experience and/or a strong mechanical aptitude in industrial or heavy‑equipment environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical repairs and maintenance on marine vessels (non‑engine related).
• Diagnose issues, replace components, and ensure proper mechanical function.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Assist with fabrication, welding, and structural repair tasks as needed.
• Work safely and efficiently in a marine/industrial environment.
• Collaborate with team members to complete repairs and meet project timelines.

Qualifications

• Accepting Candidates with Marine / Boat Maintenance Experience
• Accepting candidates with Industrial Maintenance Experience
• Accepting candidates with Heavy Equipment, Industrial Maintenance or Heavy Equipment/ Diesel Mechanic experience
• Welding & Fabrication skills
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
• Ability to work in outdoor and marine environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ventura, CA.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
