Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electro Mechanical Assembler with 1-3 years of experience in the field to join our dynamic team. You will have the opportunity to work on projects across various industries such as medical, automotive, and aerospace, with a primary focus on products for one of our major clients. This position involves working both independently and collaboratively during the day shift.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble parts from various industries including medical, automotive, and aerospace.

  • Work mainly on products for our largest customer.

  • Read and understand schematics and drawings.

  • Perform electrical assembly and valve assembly.

  • Conduct point-to-point wiring and cable harness tasks.

  • Build boxes and work with cable harnesses.

  • Utilize tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, calipers, torque tools, and crimping tools for small pins.

  • Perform soldering tasks with precision.

Essential Skills

  • 1-3 years of experience in Electro Mechanical Assembly.

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and drawings.

  • Experience with cable harnesses and box builds.

  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on precision.

  • Ability to multitask efficiently.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with pneumatic assembly.

  • Soldering and crimping with small pins.

Work Environment

You will be working in a clean room environment alongside approximately 15 other assemblers. This role requires reporting to the department head and maintaining a focus on cleanliness and safety standards.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newark, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr.
