Innova Solutions has a client that is immediately hiring for a Mechanical Assembler.
Position type: Full Time, Contract Duration: 12 + months possible extension Location: McKinney Texas 75071 Shift: 1st Shift 5:00am to 2:30pm Job Description : As a Mechanical Assembler, you will: - Perform mechanical and basic electronic assembly operations
- Follow detailed work instructions, procedures, and engineering documents
- Perform basic soldering (required)
- Conduct basic troubleshooting during assembly processes
- Document build records accurately and thoroughly
- Utilize hand tools, computers, and special tooling daily
- Interpret schematics and technical drawings
- Move materials as needed throughout the assembly process
The ideal candidate will have: - High School Diploma or AA/AS degree (or 2-year post high school technical training)
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in electronic or mechanical assembly
- Military training in building and/or troubleshooting mechanical components may be considered equivalent
- Basic soldering experience (required)
- Basic assembly troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
Preferred Skills & Qualifications - IPC or J-STD certification (preferred, not required) Experience in electronic, optical, or mechanical assembly processes Strong multitasking and prioritization skills Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work across multiple shifts and occasional weekend work

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS: Pay Range*: $17.00 to $19.32/per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
