Overview:

We are seeking a highly technical Oracle Exadata DBA to support a large-scale revenue cycle initiative. This individual will work closely with senior leadership and technical teams to optimize, maintain, and enhance Oracle database environments running on Exadata.

This role requires a hands-on expert who can operate independently, provide technical leadership, and contribute immediately with minimal ramp-up.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform Proof of Concept (POC) work to validate database solutions and architecture
Manage and execute database patching (Datapatch/OPatch) and upgrades
Oversee backup and recovery strategies using RMAN and other Oracle tools
Monitor and perform performance tuning across Oracle databases on Exadata
Support and maintain Oracle Exadata environments
Troubleshoot and resolve complex database and infrastructure issues
Collaborate with internal teams to support revenue cycle system performance and stability
Ensure adherence to best practices for database security, availability, and reliability

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications:

7+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA
Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Exadata
Expertise in:
- RMAN backups and recovery
- Database patching (OPatch/Datapatch)
- Performance tuning (AWR, ASH, OEM, SQL tuning)
Experience conducting Proof of Concepts (POCs) and validating solutions
Deep understanding of Oracle database architecture and optimization
Ability to work independently in a highly technical, fast-paced environment
