Position Summary:
This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The Bedford Concession Attendant is responsible for preparing and handling food, providing basic customer service, maintaining a clean and organized concession stand, and managing cash transactions with care. This role ensures that the concession area is well-stocked, organized, and operating efficiently. The position contributes to a safe and positive atmosphere that promotes member safety and engagement in accordance with YMCA policies and procedures.

Essential Functions:

• Prepare and serve concession food items in accordance with YMCA food handling and safety standards.
• Provide courteous and professional service to members and guests.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the concession stand, including food prep areas, equipment, and surrounding spaces.
• Stock, organize, and log inventory, ensuring accurate tracking of item capacity and supplies.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, maintain the cash drawer, and follow YMCA cash handling procedures.
• Monitor supplies and notify management of restocking needs.
• Follow YMCA policies and procedures to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for members and guests.
• Assist with other reasonable tasks related to the smooth operation of the concession stand as assigned by management.
