Position Overview Embedded Physical Security Manager to serve as the onsite security leader for a globally recognized, high‑end luxury corporate campus in Marin County. This leadership role requires a professional who combines strong operational discipline with polished communication, sound judgment, and a highly professional presence. Compensation $60.10 per hour (approximately $125,000 annually based on 40 hours per week) Schedule Monday–Friday, 10:00am–6:00pm. Fully onsite. Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership Direct supervision and accountability of onsite security personnel Conduct daily briefings and enforce professional standards Lead response to security‑related incidents during business hours Oversee structured reporting and incident documentation Executive & Campus Security Maintain a visible, polished, and approachable presence Support executive presence and daily campus operations Serve as escalation authority during business hours Preserve a secure, welcoming, and highly polished environment consistent with a world‑class luxury corporate campus Communication, De‑Escalation & Judgment Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal effectiveness Apply sound judgment in sensitive or evolving situations Utilize de‑escalation skills to manage conflict or disruptive behavior professionally Engage employees, visitors, and executives with maturity and discretion Systems Oversight Administer access control permissions Oversee CCTV and monitoring systems Coordinate with Facilities and IT on system functionality and continuity Required Qualifications Minimum 7 years of experience in law enforcement, corporate security, or a related field Minimum 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience Strong interpersonal, communication, and social skills Demonstrated de‑escalation capability and sound judgment Professional appearance and executive presence Experience operating in high‑visibility, customer‑facing, or executive environments Ability to operate effectively within a refined, executive‑facing corporate environment Ability to maintain discretion and professionalism in a luxury corporate setting Eligibility to work in the United States Must be at least 18 years old Possess a current California Driver's License Successfully pass a background check and drug screening Preferred Background At least 5 years of meaningful sworn law enforcement experience at a busy or moderately busy agency Experience in investigations, field training, or specialized assignments Prior corporate security, executive campus, or high‑end hospitality/security environment experience Exposure to workplace violence prevention or behavioral threat awareness Experience with access control and CCTV systems Armed Consideration (If Applicable) This position may be structured as armed for candidates who meet the appropriate qualifications. Armed status is not required for the role. If considered for armed configuration: Candidate must possess a minimum of five (5) years of meaningful sworn law enforcement experience Must be LEOSA qualified Must be willing and able to obtain a BSIS Guard Card and Exposed Firearm Permit to perform security services in California Barbier Security Group will provide administrative support to qualified candidates in obtaining the required BSIS exposed firearm permit Candidates without legitimate prior police experience will not be considered for armed configuration Armed status will be determined based on candidate background, experience, and overall fit for the environment Ideal Candidate Profile Calm, composed, and highly professional Strong communicator with high emotional intelligence Excellent interpersonal presence and social awareness Comfortable interacting with executives and staff at all levels Disciplined, discreet, and service‑oriented Able to balance security awareness with a welcoming and professional demeanor Physical Requirements Stand or walk for extended periods, including traversing outdoor areas with uneven surfaces, without significant physical strain Climb stairs and navigate multi‑level buildings during patrols Lift up to 50 pounds to move or secure equipment and assist with other duties as necessary Withstand various weather conditions during outdoor patrols Handle and operate security equipment, such as radios, keys, and locks Respond quickly to emergencies or incidents by running or moving quickly over short distances Maintain physical stamina to work long hours while remaining alert and focused.
