Physician Pulmonary /Critical Care Overton Brooks VA Medical Center Shreveport, LA Overton Brooks VA Medical Center is recruiting for a full-time Pulmonary /Critical Care Physician. Highlights/Requirements Starting base salary: $240,000 to - $385,000 per year

Daily schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Attending responsibilities for the Medical ICU team (Medical Residents),

Critical Care consultation in Surgical ICU (with Medical Residents and Critical Care Fellow),

Teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and Fellow,

Inpatient consultations for Pulmonary,

Duties will include clinical practice, and teaching Pulmonary fellows, residents and medical students, and

faculty appointment at the affiliated Louisiana State University Health and Science Center commensurate with qualifications.

Current, Full and unrestricted license from any U.S. State

Preferred: Pulmonary and Critical Care Board Certified or eligible

We offer: Education Debt Reduction Program (Student Loan Repayment): Assistance with payment of outstanding medical school loans.

Paid Time Off: 50-55 days of paid time off per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year and possible 5 day paid absence for CME)

Retirement: Traditional federal pension (5 years vesting) and federal 401K with up to 5% in contributions by VA

CME: Possible $1,000 per year reimbursement (must be full-time with board certification)

Contract: No Physician Employment Contract and no significant restriction on moonlighting
