This position plays a vital role in managing the complete employee lifecycle, from initial recruitment through onboarding and eventual separation. The successful candidate will serve as a key point of contact for both prospective and current employees, ensuring smooth transitions at every stage of employment. Working within established guidelines and under direct supervision, this role requires strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail to effectively coordinate recruitment activities, conduct thorough candidate evaluations, and maintain accurate employee records. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism in all interactions while supporting the organization’s talent acquisition and retention strategies. Responsibilities Recruit qualified candidates through various sourcing methods and channels Conduct interviews with prospective employees to assess qualifications and cultural fit Perform comprehensive reference checks on potential hires Extend employment offers to selected candidates and negotiate terms as appropriate Coordinate and conduct new employee orientation programs Facilitate exit interviews with departing employees to gather feedback Process all employee status changes including promotions, transfers, and terminations Maintain accurate documentation throughout the recruitment and employment lifecycle Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and requirements Skills Strong interpersonal and communication abilities Excellent organizational and time management capabilities Proficiency in interviewing techniques and candidate assessment Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Knowledge of commonly-used human resources concepts, practices, and procedures Professional demeanor and customer service orientation Experience 0-2 years of experience in human resources or a related field Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related area of specialty This is an excellent opportunity for someone beginning their career in human resources to gain comprehensive experience across multiple HR functions. This posting is for a contract assignment with Tundra Technical Solutions to provide services to Amazon. The pay range that Tundra in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $25.59/hour - $29.01/hour. Tundra’s benefits offering includes optional medical, dental, vision, retirement benefits, and a New Child Benefit.
