Security Officer Full Time Driver Patrol

As a Security Officer Full Time Driver Patrol in Syracuse, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Mon 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

Tue 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

Wed 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

Thur 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or healthcare providers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facilities, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures; assist with directing visitors and maintaining orderly movement throughout the location.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation for incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
