As a Security Officer Mobile Driver in Columbia, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for shoppers and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Mon 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM

Tue 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM

Wed 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM

Thur 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM

Sun 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to customers, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, receiving locations, and the perimeter.
• Monitor for suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and unauthorized access, helping to deter theft and other security-related concerns through a professional presence.
• Communicate with site management, law enforcement, and emergency personnel as needed, following established reporting and escalation procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
