About the Role Uber Eats is on a mission to deliver almost anything to our customers and we're looking for a visionary and strategic consumer experience Sr. Product Manager to join our dynamic and fast-paced team. As a Sr. Product Manager on the Uber Eats Consumer Experience team, you will be directly responsible for aspects of the core consumer journey for the Uber Eats app that serves millions of users globally every day and is growing fast. You'll set strategy and vision for the experience, align with cross-functional partners, and drive that vision forward daily with your partners across Product Design, Data Science, Engineering, and Business teams. In this role, you will lead with deep customer insights and empathy, relying on data and UXR to make informed decisions grounded in strong product intuition. You'll be both creative and bring deep expertise in consumer product to the table, as well as analytically rigorous, driving experimentation and knowing your metrics. You'll operate with an owner's mindset, obsessing over every detail of the end-to-end experience. What the Candidate Will Do Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including Design, Data Science, Engineering and Ops, to identify opportunities to make the experience better and drive business outcomes. Distill the vision and strategy for the team and effectively present and communicate to cross‑functional partners and leadership to generate enthusiasm and drive alignment. Develop and maintain a roadmap of product initiatives, and implement data‑driven experiments to improve the core consumer experience for Uber Eats. Basic Qualifications 5+ years of Product Management experience delivering highly successful and innovative consumer products with your fingerprints all over them. Familiar with systems thinking, analytics and experiment design, and a solid understanding of software development processes and concepts. Leadership experience. Extensive experience setting and delivering on a strategy you crafted, where you were accountable for the outcomes. Customer obsession. Demonstrated ability to take on complex product challenges and find elegant solutions that are delightfully simple for users. Experience building scaled businesses, including ownership and optimization of business performance metrics. Experience working with geographically distributed cross‑functional teams in an energetic, high‑octane environment. Preferred Qualifications A decisive mindset. You are biased toward action, a great collaborator, a master disambiguator/simplifier, and constantly pushing toward clarity and delivery. You never hesitate to roll up your sleeves and tackle something hands‑on. A high bar across the board. Obsess over every pixel and underlying detail that drives the way users experience Uber Eats. No problem is too big or too small. Data‑savvy. You find a way to get the data you need and whip it into an insightful story with no help. You know how to demonstrate this data to make decisions without getting stuck in analysis paralysis. Location and Compensation For San Francisco, CA-based roles: the base salary range for this role is $190,000 per year – $211,000 per year. For Seattle, WA-based roles: the base salary range for this role is $190,000 per year – $211,000 per year.
