Employees enjoy a highly competitive benefits package including:Up to 120 hours earned paid time off in the first year of employmentIncreased paid time off with years of service milestonesPaid holidaysProfit sharing and moreThe purpose of this position is to provide soldering support to the SMT line in a timely manner, remove and replace SMT components on printed circuit boards to specification, inspect own work to guarantee conformation to company quality standards, and provide an overall stewardship of the assets to our shareholders.Under limited supervision, performs a wide variety of SMT functions, including ground plane soldering and SMT Soldering of electronic components including resistors, capacitors, connectors, IC's, switches, crystals, using no-clean and organic flux and both lead and lead-free solder at a IPC Class II and Class III levels.Basic knowledge of the assigned functions is preferred, but will consider those with limited or no prior experience.Essential duties and responsibilities:Follow process documents and workflow instructionsFollow all state, federal and local employment laws/all Vanguard work rules, policies and proceduresBe a willing contributor in all continuous improvement, training and other workplace programsProvide excellent customer service to all internal and external customersWork in a safe and efficient mannerBe reliable and dependable by consistently working all scheduled hoursMotivate team and create a positive team working environment.Maintain a clean and highly organized area.Ensure benches, tools and equipment are maintained and in good working conditionTreat everyone at Vanguard, its vendors and customers with dignity, respect and professionalism at all times.
