Position Overview

The Sprinkler Helper Technician will assist lead technicians with the installation, inspection, testing, and servicing of fire sprinkler systems across a variety of job sites. This is a great entry point for candidates who are mechanically inclined, eager to learn, and ready to grow within a stable and essential industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist lead technicians with installation and assembly of fire sprinkler systems
• Support inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance in accordance with NFPA 13 and NFPA 25
• Help with pipe fitting, hangers, and sprinkler head installation as directed
• Assist with threading, cutting, and grooving pipe under supervision
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment on all job sites
• Assist with accurate documentation of service records and inspection reports
• Follow all safety procedures and comply with applicable codes and AHJ requirements
• Represent yourself and Fuze HR Solutions professionally on every job site

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in fire sprinkler, plumbing, pipefitting, or related field preferred
• Basic understanding of fire sprinkler systems and components a plus
• Willingness to learn and grow within the fire protection industry
• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and drawings preferred
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable standing, walking, climbing ladders, and working in industrial environments
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces when necessary
