Staffing Recruiter

Are you passionate about helping people and building relationships? NECIC Staffing is growing in Wooster, and we're looking for a motivated, people-focused Staffing Recruiter to join our team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in customer service, recruiting, staffing, sales, hospitality, workforce development, or another people-centered role who is ready to build a rewarding long-term career.

No recruiting experience? That's okay! We can teach recruiting. We're looking for someone with the right attitude, strong communication skills, and a genuine desire to help others succeed.

Job Responsibilities

As a Staffing Recruiter, you'll play a key role in connecting job seekers with meaningful employment while helping local employers build successful teams.

Responsibilities include:

• Recruiting, interviewing, and screening candidates
• Posting and managing job advertisements
• Scheduling interviews and coordinating onboarding
• Answering staffing phone calls and making outbound recruiting calls
• Responding promptly to emails, texts, and voicemails
• Following up with candidates throughout the hiring process
• Maintaining communication with associates after placement
• Building relationships with local employers and community partners
• Attending job fairs, hiring events, and networking opportunities
• Maintaining accurate applicant information in our staffing system

Communication is one of the most important parts of this role. You'll spend a significant portion of your day talking with candidates and employers, making outbound calls, answering questions, and ensuring everyone stays informed throughout the hiring process.

Qualifications

We're looking for someone who:

• Enjoys talking with people and building relationships
• Has excellent customer service and communication skills
• Is comfortable making outbound phone calls and answering incoming calls
• Is organized and able to manage multiple priorities
• Takes initiative and works independently
• Adapts well in a fast-paced environment
• Has strong computer skills
• Has a valid Ohio driver's license and reliable transportation
• Is proficient with Microsoft Office 365

Previous experience in recruiting, staffing, sales, customer service, hospitality, workforce development, HR, or other relationship-based positions is preferred but not required.

Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS), CRM software, payroll, or HR systems is a plus.
