TECHNICAL WRITER

Responsible for the origination, editing, and revision of technical documentation including component specifications and manufacturing standard operating procedures. With appropriate input from other disciplines, this position may also be responsible for the editing and revision of technical reports or regulatory submission documents. Duties and responsibilities would include: Assisting in QMS Document Deployment (Including Instructions For Use) Qualifications Bachelor's degree in English, STEM, or a technical field, or equivalent Must be computer-savvy and well-versed in document editing software i.e. Adobe Reader, etc. Proficient in Google Docs, Google Sheets, and comfortable navigating Google Drive Comfortable operating office equipment such as scanners and printers, with a solid understanding of filing systems. Willingness to perform general administrative tasks and responsibilities Demonstrates initiative in advancing projects, with proven ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks effectively Capable of working independently while maintaining consistent communication and collaboration with team members and leadership Effective technical writing and verbal communication skills. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Exhibits great attention to detail along with excellent organizational and coordination skills Self-directed, the ability to work independently, and highly motivated. Ability to function in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment. Fluent in English (fluency in other languages is a plus). Bonus Knowledge of quality system requirements such as ISO 13485 and FDA 21 CFR Part 820. Proficient understanding of US FDA Medical Device regulatory requirements. Working Conditions The Technical Writer would work in an office environment that includes laboratory and manufacturing areas. Occasional travel may be required. The Technical Writer would work a standard work week but may be required to work some evenings to meet the needs of the company.
