Job Title: Tool and Die Maker

Location: Arvada/Golden, Colorado
Job Type: Full-Time
Shift: Monday-Friday, 8 hours/day, daytime
Wages: $22-$30 depending on experience

Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Tool and Die Maker to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating, repairing, and maintaining precision tools, dies, and fixtures used in our production processes. Attention to detail and the ability to work with tight tolerances are critical in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret part prints, drawings, and technical documents.
• Set up and operate machines (lathes, mills, grinders).
• Build, modify, and repair progressive dies, molds, and fixtures.
• Conduct test runs with completed tools/dies to ensure proper operation.
• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on tooling and equipment.
• Collaborate with production staff to optimize manufacturing processes.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED; technical diploma or apprenticeship in Tool and Die Making preferred.
• Wire EDM, EDM and MasterCam knowledge and experience a plus.
• Proficient in the use of measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, indicators).
• Strong knowledge of machining, heat treatment, and metal properties.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Must work well with others.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to lift 25-30 lbs.
• Statistical Process Control (SPC) knowledge a plus.

• Hands On Progressive Tool & Die: 1 year (Preferred)
• Wire EDM with MasterCam Program: 1 year (Preferred)
• tool and die: 1 year (Required)

Ability to Commute:

• Golden, CO 80403 (Required)
