Description Aria Care Partners is the national leader in providing onsite dental, vision, hearing, and podiatry care to over 3,500 long‑term care and skilled nursing facilities across 25 states. The Position This role involves providing on‑site dental hygiene services to residents in the facilities we serve. Registered Dental Hygienists work alongside the DDS, clinical coordinator, and site staff to ensure patients receive the care and assistance they require. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Review patient lists before each visit and confirm all supplies and equipment are available. Arrive on time, check in with the dental contact, and confirm the patient list. Transport, set up, and take down equipment and supplies in the designated treatment space. Coordinate patient and chart transfers with facility staff; if transport issues arise, call the clinical support manager. Perform required care including X‑rays, cleaning, denture services, sealants, and oral health assessments; report findings to the dentist following ADA and company standards. Explain procedures to patients during treatment and follow up with facility staff on recommendations. Enter chart notes for all treatments into Salesforce immediately after care. Maintain OSHA safety and cleanliness regulations during treatment. Ensure disposables are handled correctly before leaving the facility. Check out with the dental contact, review chart notes, and leave printed copies with the facility. Collaborate with the clinical support manager on scheduling and follow‑up of patient care. Maintain dental equipment through regular cleaning and maintenance routines. Inventory supplies and place orders as needed. Follow OSHA guidelines for instrument sterilization and handling. Utilize personal vehicle for equipment travel and scheduled facility visits. Be available via cell phone during the workday. Expenseable purchases for office needs and unforeseen supplies may be reimbursed. Location This position covers a home market that may involve drive times from 20 minutes up to 2.5 hours. You are compensated for all drive time over 30 minutes each way, and mileage reimbursement is provided for all miles driven. Requirements Current Registered Dental Hygienist license in the state in good standing and a minimum of 5 years’ experience. Valid driver’s license with no moving violations in the last 5 years. Reliable personal transportation and willingness to use it for travel to facilities. Ability to push, pull, or move patients weighing up to 200 lbs (e.g., wheelchair patients). Ability to lift equipment up to 50 pounds in and out of your vehicle. High school diploma or equivalent. Other Qualifications Excellent customer service skills to work effectively with facility staff. Proficiency in logging chart notes at the time of visit. Strong organizational skills for managing supplies, dentures, and daily schedule. Ability to multitask and prioritize concurrent demands.
