Voice Actor - French Speakers (AI Training)

About the Role

What if your voice could directly shape how AI speaks to millions of French speakers around the world? We're looking for professional French-speaking voice actors and voice-over artists to help train and refine cutting-edge AI speech systems - recording expressive samples, evaluating AI-generated audio, and ensuring it sounds authentically human.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for working voice professionals. No AI background needed - just your voice, your craft, and a quiet place to record.

What You'll Do

• Record high-quality French voice samples from provided scripts and prompts
• Evaluate AI-generated speech for naturalness, pronunciation, tone, and expressiveness
• Provide detailed, constructive feedback to help improve AI-generated audio
• Review and refine scripts to ensure clarity and authentic-sounding delivery
• Work independently and asynchronously - fully on your own schedule

Who You Are

• Experienced in voice acting, narration, audiobook recording, dubbing, or similar voice work
• Fluent in French - native or near-native speakers strongly preferred
• Equipped with a quality microphone and a quiet, controlled recording environment
• Able to deliver clear, expressive, and engaging performances consistently
• Detail-oriented when assessing pronunciation, cadence, and vocal clarity
• No AI or tech background required

Nice to Have

• Experience across multiple voice styles - character work, corporate narration, e-learning, or broadcast
• Familiarity with audio editing software or DAW tools
• Knowledge of regional French variations - European, Canadian, African, or otherwise
• Background in linguistics, performance, or broadcast media
