English Language Arts Teacher (4th–9th Grade)

• CrossTown 119 is a small, faith-based K–9 school within CrossTown Ministries, cultivating a gospel-centered environment where loved people love people . We prioritize small groups, hands-on learning, and meaningful relationships.

The Role

• Teach 3 small classes (under 10 students each):
• 4th–5th grade
• 6th–8th grade
• 9th grade
• Students are grouped by grade + ability, allowing for personalized, small-group instruction.

What You’ll Do

• Teach reading & writing through novel studies, research writing, and poetry
• Build confident, expressive readers and writers
• Use SIPPS, AR, and Lexia to support growth
• Prepare students for PSAT, SAT, ACT readiness
• Create engaging, hands-on, discussion-based lessons
• Foster a classroom rooted in joy, structure, and strong relationships

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required
