Position Information Position Title: Gallery Assistant Requisition Number: H00480P Position Category: Hourly/Work Study Campus Location: Weber State University - Ogden, UT Hours per week: 20 Months per year: 12 Alternate work schedule: Yes Pay Grade: Salary Hourly Pay Rate: $11.75 - $15.00 FLSA: Job Summary/Basic Function: Assist in all art gallery operations, including but not limited to: Exhibition prep, install and deinstall, art handling, layout design, facility organization and upkeep, painting and patching display walls, operating scissor lift, gallery lighting, visitor relations, tool handling, packing and unpacking of artwork, marketing material dissemination and installing artwork on campus. Required Qualifications Completion of at least 1 year of college classes. Ability to lift 30 pounds. Preferred Qualifications B.A. or B.F.A. degree in Visual Art or Design. Background Check?
