Job Details Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Production Scheduler, your primary duties will include but are not limited to:
1. Develop, manage, and maintain detailed production schedules to ensure optimal productivity and meet project deadlines.
2. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and others to understand work scope, timeframes, and resource requirements.
3. Use advanced Excel and other scheduling software to track, analyze, and report on production progress.
4. Identify potential bottlenecks, delays, or other issues that could impact the production schedule and propose effective solutions.
5. Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
6. Regularly update stakeholders on the status of projects, providing detailed reports and presentations as needed.
7. Continually review and improve scheduling processes and systems to increase efficiency and productivity.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Production Scheduler.
2. Proven expertise in using advanced Excel functions for complex data analysis and reporting.
3. Previous experience leading/mentoring others.
4. Exceptional organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
5. Strong problem-solving abilities, with a knack for identifying and resolving potential issues before they impact the production schedule.
6. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex scheduling information to various stakeholders.
