Role Overview

Solutionara is seeking a hands-on Solution Architect under a structured contract-to-hire model.

This role will lead architecture and execution across:

• AWS cloud environments
• Boomi-based enterprise integration programs
• ERP, CRM, eCommerce, PIM/DAM, and other enterprise application ecosystems

This is a builder-architect role requiring active engagement in architecture design, Boomi integration validation, AWS infrastructure alignment, and enterprise application connectivity.

Key Responsibilities

AWS Architecture & Cloud Enablement

• Architect secure, scalable AWS environments for enterprise integration workloads
• Design VPC structures, IAM models, networking (VPN, private connectivity), and security controls
• Support containerized and microservices-based deployment patterns
• Align cloud architecture with CI/CD and DevOps practices
• Ensure scalability, resilience, and cost optimization within AWS

Boomi Integration Architecture

• Lead architecture and governance of Boomi-based integration programs
• Define API-led, event-driven, and hybrid integration patterns
• Review Boomi process designs, connectors, data mappings, and transformations
• Establish error handling, retry frameworks, and monitoring standards
• Guide best practices for reusable integration components
• Troubleshoot production integration issues when required

Enterprise Application Integration

• Architect integrations between ERP (JDE, SAP, Oracle, etc.), CRM, and SaaS platforms
• Define canonical data models and transformation strategies
• Ensure secure data exchange between on-premise and AWS-hosted systems
• Lead integration design for order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, inventory, and financial flows
• Validate payload structures, API contracts, and message sequencing

Delivery & Technical Leadership

• Provide hands-on guidance to offshore engineering teams
• Participate in client architecture workshops and solution discussions
• Translate business requirements into structured AWS + Boomi solution designs
• Maintain architecture documentation (HLD, integration diagrams, standards)
• Ensure quality control, performance optimization, and architectural integrity

Governance & Standardization

• Establish AWS + Boomi architecture standards for Solutionara
• Create reusable templates and integration playbooks
• Support Architecture Review Board (ARB) participation
• Contribute to pre-sales solution validation and technical estimations

Required Qualifications

• 7–10 years of enterprise IT experience
• Minimum 3 years in Solution Architecture or Senior Technical Lead roles
• Strong hands-on AWS experience (VPC, IAM, networking, security, compute)
• Direct, practical experience designing solutions on Boomi
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven architecture
• Experience integrating ERP, CRM, and enterprise SaaS platforms
• Ability to guide distributed offshore teams
• Strong documentation and executive communication skills

Preferred

• Experience in retail, manufacturing, supply chain, or CPG industries
• Prior consulting experience
• AWS certification (Solutions Architect preferred)
• Boomi certification (preferred but not mandatory)

Engagement Structure

This role begins under a milestone-based contract model over 4–6 months, focused on measurable architecture and delivery outcomes across AWS and Boomi initiatives.

Upon successful performance and mutual alignment, the role transitions to:

Full-Time Title : Solution Architect – AWS, Boomi & Applications 

Location : Sugar Land, Texas (Hybrid)
