Job Title: Systems Operations Engineer

Contract Length: 12+ month contract

On site work location: Charlotte, NC, Chandler, AZ, or Las Colinas, TX

Seeking professional to support cybersecurity technology operations. This role operates within a fast-paced, high-demand environment and requires strong incident, change, and problem management capabilities, along with the ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels, including senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and develop multiple business functional areas with a focus on long-term strategies, policies, and process improvements
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and risk control development to ensure operational efficiency
• Lead execution of technology initiatives, ensuring solutions are properly designed, integrated, and controlled
• Interpret and develop policies and procedures impacting operations, quality, and organizational capabilities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align objectives and secure necessary resources
• Support change planning and delivery processes to ensure timely, high-quality execution
• Implement measurement, reporting, and portfolio management routines for visibility across change lifecycle
• Ensure adherence to cybersecurity and enterprise change management procedures
• Drive continuous improvement in operational excellence and risk mitigation

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of service management experience or equivalent (work experience, training, military, or education)
• ServiceNow experience
• ITIL knowledge (Service Management principles)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
• SharePoint experience
• Strong analytical skills
• Professional communication skills
• Strong presentation skills and ability to present

Preferred Qualifications

• Financial services industry experience
• Experience with large-scale operational transformation initiatives
• Experience designing and implementing ITIL methodologies and reporting analytics
• Understanding of Agile and product management
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to develop independent viewpoints and lead problem solving
• Bachelor's degree or higher preferred
