The Product Team creates high-quality end-to-end experiences for travelers, partners, and Expedia Group. Our focus on customer-centric innovation enables us to develop products that build loyalty and repeat business. We partner closely with teams across Expedia Group to drive growth and achieve results for our customers and the company.

This Product Manager III role is part of the Partner Payments team which powers how our partners get paid across brands, products, and geographies, defining a scalable, compliant, and cost-efficient roadmap that makes it simple for partners to do business with us while improving economics and reliability for Expedia Group. In this role, you will own end-to-end product strategy and work closely with engineering, design, finance, ops, legal, compliance, and regional partner teams to deliver resilient payment experiences, modernize our platform, and unlock new business models.

In this role, you will:

  • Define and execute the partner payments product strategy and roadmap, delivering predictable, timely, low-friction partner payouts across markets.
  • Design and optimize partner payments onboarding and opt-in experiences so partners across the total addressable market can easily adopt payout products and see clear value.
  • Partner with finance, payments operations, and platform teams to streamline cash operations, automate netting, and simplify payout flows.
  • Translate strategy into clear product opportunities and requirements, grounding payout decisions in competitive insights, customer pain points, and friction in the partner payout journey.
  • Drive alignment and execution with engineering and design, ensuring partner payments goals are well understood, visually represented where needed, and supported by high-quality product documentation and user stories.
  • Prioritize product initiatives using a data-informed approach, balancing short- and long-term outcomes, and clearly communicating product concepts, trade-offs, and decisions to cross-functional stakeholders.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field; or equivalent related professional experience.
  • 5+ years of product management experience, with a track record of delivering innovative, user-centric products.
  • 3+ years of experience in payments, fintech, financial operations, or marketplaces.
  • Demonstrated ability to own a complex problem space end-to-end, from strategy through execution in a backend or platform domain.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort using data and experimentation to inform priorities and measure impact.
  • Technical fluency and experience collaborating closely with engineering on APIs, data flows, and system constraints.
  • Experience working with B2B or partner-facing products and influencing cross-functional teams without direct authority.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working on AI/ML products.
  • Prior experience integrating AI/ML capabilities in payments domain.

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $137,500.00 to $192,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $220,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role. Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
