This position requires FULL-TIME TRAVEL across the country to multiple job sites.

About the Role:
As a Safety Officer, you’ll serve as a senior field safety representative responsible for conducting effective inspections and audits on jobsite safety performance and producing quality jobsite safety performance reports. You will carry out safety surveys, perform follow-up visits, issue safety violation notices, and produce detailed Jobsite Safety Survey Reports for project teams, safety leadership, and executive management. You’ll also support Safety Engineers in the execution of their duties and partner with Safety Managers to ensure consistency and excellence across all safety operations. If you’re organized, observant, and committed to fostering a culture of safety—this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure proper implementation of the company Safety Program across all assigned projects.
  • Enforce adherence to Title 8 of the California Code of Regulations, CAL/OSHA policies, and other applicable state and local safety regulations.
  • Conduct monthly Jobsite Safety Surveys, including detailed written and photographic documentation.
  • Review jobsite safety documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
  • Complete Jobsite Safety reports within the same business day unless otherwise approved by a supervisor.
  • Provide support to Safety Engineers by leading site visits, follow-ups, and report completion.
What You Bring:
  • Experience: 3+ years in safety, construction management, or related field.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of safety principles, regulations, and standards, including OSHA, ANSI, and NFPA.
  • Skills: Strong communication, collaboration, leadership, observation, and reporting skills.
  • Attributes: Detailed, organized, communicative, discerning, resourceful, and focused.
Position:
  • Reports to Safety Manager or Safety Director
Physical Requirements:
  • Desk and computer-based work.
  • Inspect job sites: walk up to 1-2 mile, climb stairs, ladders, and scaffolding.
  • Lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
  • Travel to job site and satellite offices.
Why Join Us?
  • Work in a growing and supportive environment.
  • Play a key role in maintaining and improving safety performance.
  • Be part of a collaborative and knowledgeable team.
If you're ready to take the next step in your career, we’d love to hear from you!
