Role overview
Swedish Technology is looking for an RFID Engineer to design, deploy, and support reliable RFID solutions for inventory, asset-tracking, retail, logistics, and industrial customers.
Responsibilities
- Design and configure UHF RFID reader, antenna, tag, portal, shelf, and handheld deployments.
- Perform site surveys, read-range testing, tag selection, tuning, and commissioning.
- Integrate RFID hardware with WMS, ERP, POS, APIs, and customer applications.
- Diagnose RF, network, middleware, and data-quality issues and document solutions.
- Prepare technical documentation, test plans, customer demonstrations, and handover materials.
- Work with customers and delivery teams during installations and technical support visits.
Requirements
- Degree, diploma, or equivalent practical experience in electrical engineering, electronics, computer engineering, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with RFID, IoT, industrial automation, wireless systems, or a related technology.
- Understanding of EPC Gen2 / ISO 18000-63, RF fundamentals, reader SDKs, APIs, and IP networking.
- Comfortable with technical troubleshooting, structured testing, and clear customer communication.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites when required.
