Octopus Odoo Asset Management is a Swedish Technology concept for extending Odoo with asset register, barcode/RFID, serial, location, owner, department, condition, warranty, maintenance, documents, history and finance links. RFID, GIS and IoT can add physical visibility, but asset identity and custody rules must be defined before integration.
One asset record should explain what it is, where it is, who owns it, what it is worth and what must happen next.
