Swedish Technology helps UAE public-sector teams plan and connect digital systems around a defined service or operational need. A project can combine AI, RFID, RTLS, GIS, digital twins, workflow and ERP integration. The right mix depends on the site’s processes, existing systems, data rules and acceptance criteria.

Start with the work that is difficult today: delayed service information, manual asset reconciliation, fragmented inspection evidence or slow incident response. We assess the current process and technical environment, then map the data flow from source systems and devices to the staff and applications that act on it.

Systems designed around public-sector operations

One engagement may focus on mobile inspection and GIS; another may connect RFID inventory events to an ERP, add indoor location to a facility, or route AI-detected events to an approved control-room workflow. The system should support the existing source of truth and provide clear ownership for records, exceptions and approvals.

  • Asset and inventory control: use RFID or barcode events to support receiving, issue, transfer, verification and audit workflows.
  • Inspection and field operations: connect mobile forms, location, photos, work assignments and reporting.
  • Monitoring and response: route configured AI or sensor events to an operator workflow with review and escalation.
  • Spatial operations: relate sites, buildings, assets and events through GIS or a digital twin where suitable data is available.

How information moves

Devices and approved source systems send data through a site network, edge gateway or documented interface. The project normalizes the required events, applies the selected rules or analytics, and presents the result in an operator view or business application. Integrations with SAP, Oracle, Odoo, Maximo, ArcGIS, VMS, access control, BMS or CMMS depend on the customer’s actual versions, licenses, interfaces and security policy.

Authentication, least-privilege access, audit logs, encryption, network boundaries, retention and backup are defined with the customer. Private cloud or on-premises deployment can be evaluated when the selected product and infrastructure support it. No hosting, certification or regulatory outcome is assumed without project validation.

Delivery and pilot method

  1. Agree the service or operational outcome, owner and current baseline.
  2. Survey the site, network, workflows, data sources and constraints.
  3. Document architecture, interfaces, roles, information ownership and acceptance criteria.
  4. Choose a representative pilot area and agree pass/fail scenarios before installation.
  5. Configure and integrate the system, then run system and user acceptance tests under realistic conditions.
  6. Train users, hand over operating documents and support responsibilities, and expand after pilot acceptance.

Measures should be selected for the use case. They can include event latency, read or detection performance, exception handling, integration reconciliation, permissions, auditability and completion of agreed user scenarios. Targets must be established for the actual environment rather than copied from a datasheet.

Common questions

Can a project use our existing ERP or operational systems?

Usually, if a supported interface is available. Before development, the integration design should identify the source of truth, data direction, retry and reconciliation behavior, and the team responsible for each record.

Can the solution run on-premises?

That can be assessed for products and infrastructure that support it. Hardware sizing, availability, backup, cybersecurity and operational ownership must be agreed in the design.

How should a government pilot be measured?

Use agreed scenarios from the real workflow, including normal operations, exceptions, permissions, reporting and integration. Add accuracy or latency measures when they matter to the use case.

What should we prepare for an assessment?

Share the operating objective, site or department scope, current systems, device counts, security constraints, data owner and known interface documentation. An initial scope can be refined during discovery.
